    B & B Me Up Scotty

    Maybe it is because I am getting old but I love B and Bs. I love quaint old hotels and homesteads in the country that have open fireplaces downstairs and quilts upstairs. Places that unashamedly treat you like a pair of comfortable slippers while you partake of a Bed and Breakfast.

    They give you jarmies! A set of stylish black PJs with some fawn trim. They don’t call them pyjamas at 39,000 feet. The accompanying blurb says: “In this bag you’ll find a light and comfortable sleeper suit to ensure you travel in ultimate comfort.” And the bag “doubles as a shoe bag to protect your shoes inflight”.

    Emirate Emeritus

    One dictionary definition of the word “emeritus” is that of a wise old professor. Which probably is a shade inappropriate for a pesky, but fabulously wealthy, airline that has snuck up on Australia. Although Emirates has style and trustworthiness.
